Outstanding success for students from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in the CEEMC international competition

Consisting of Daniela Tůmová, Ondřej Maryška, Lukáš Nesměrák and Matěj Trojan, the team from Charles University’s Faculty of Law achieved an outstanding result in the Central and Eastern European Moot Competition, an international competition that simulates proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union.

In the oral rounds, which took place from 1 to 3 May in Timișoara, Romania, the team progressed from a joint first-place finish in the initial round. They placed fifth in the overall standings, took second place for written submissions, and Daniela Tůmová was recognised as a Noted Speaker.

Bříza & Trubač has supported the Charles University Faculty of Law team in the CEEMC competition for three consecutive years. This year, too, the students practiced their pleadings at our office before departing.
