Advocates to children's homes: Bříza & Trubač partners gave an interview to Advokátní deník

The firm's partners Barbora Klimešová and Ondřej Trubač, together with attorney Markéta Kořínková, spoke out, in an interview for Advokátní deník, about pro bono assistance to children from institutional care, in which all three of them are significantly involved.

The Advocates to Children's Homes initiative was recently launched by the Czech Bar Association in collaboration with the Tereza Maxová Foundation. The aim of the initiative is to raise awareness of important legal issues, that young people on the threshold of independent life often encounter for the first time, through lectures and talks for the staff of children's homes and for the children living in them. These are typically employment law, criminal law, debt or tenancy issues.

The initiative is part of the broader To dáš! (“You can do it!”) project, which also includes a publication of the same name, authored by Barbora Klimešová and Markéta Kořínková. The aim of the book is to advise young people from children's homes, specifically on basic issues of labour law and court proceedings.
