Bříza & Trubač financially supports Prague student team in the prestigious CEEMC competition

At the end of April, a trio of Prague law students will head to Dubrovnik, Croatia, and not to test the still cold Adriatic Sea. Their aim will be to measure their strength against other future lawyers in the traditional Central and Eastern European Moot Court (CEEMC).

Josef Marek, Aneta Dejlová and Lucie Malá have been meticulously preparing detailed arguments for many weeks in a complex case involving Moselia and Danubia, fictious EU member states, a company called SmartDrive, operating a smart mobile app for ordering taxis and a taxi driver named Octavia Linta.

The competition, founded by the British Law Centre, has been held since 1995 and is sponsored by the University of Cambridge and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

The students from Prague will have to compete in written and oral submissions against other teams from around twenty Central and Eastern European countries. Fingers crossed!
