Ondřej Trubač elected Vice-President of the Czech Bar Association

Our partner Ondřej Trubač was elected Vice-President of the Czech Bar Association last Monday. The election took place at the meeting of the newly appointed Board following the 9th General Assembly of the CBA, held in early October.

For the first time in history, a woman—Monika Novotná—was elected President of the Association. Michala Plachká became Vice-President overseeing the CBA branch in Brno, and the other Vice-Presidents are Lukáš Trojan and Ondřej Trubač.

Ondřej Trubač has been active within the Association for eight years, first as a member of the Supervisory Board and later as a member of the Board. He regards his new position as both an honour and a commitment to his colleagues and to the legal profession as a whole:

“The trust of my colleagues is the greatest motivation one can receive. I believe that even in its new composition, the Board will maintain a team spirit and that together we will be able to move the Association forward once again,” he said after the election.

We congratulate Ondřej on the trust he has earned and on his important role in shaping the future direction of the Czech legal profession.
