Three new members join the Bříza & Trubač team

This year, we welcomed three new professionals to our team, further strengthening our expertise in key practice areas ranging from transactions and corporate law to dispute resolution, tax law and specialised tax advisory services.

In April, Aram Sargsyan joined our firm. Aram is an attorney with a long-standing focus on commercial companies, corporate law, transactions and contractual matters. He brings more than ten years of experience from leading Czech law firms, including BBH, Polverini Strnad and PLICKA & PARTNERS, where he worked as an attorney. Aram has been a member of the Czech Bar Association since 2017 and also focuses on criminal law in his practice.

In the autumn, Jan Strya joined our team, strengthening in particular our dispute resolution and tax practice. In addition to his specialisation in litigation, administrative and tax law and EU law, he has extensive experience within the judiciary. He previously worked as an adviser at the Supreme Court, and over the past three years served at the Supreme Administrative Court as a judicial assistant to Judge Michal Bobek. Jan is an attorney, a graduate of the British Law Centre, and is currently completing his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law, Charles University.

The third new addition this year is Ondřej Málek, who joined our tax team. He specialises in tax law and combines his academic career with practical experience. He is a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisers of the Czech Republic and works as a research assistant at the Faculty of Law, Charles University. He is the author of numerous professional publications and frequently speaks at expert conferences in the Czech Republic and abroad. Prior to joining our firm, Ondřej worked as a tax adviser at MONEUS, and he has also gained experience at several Czech law firms.
