Petr Bříza on Conflict between EU and National Law at Charles University Law School Colloquium
14. December 2014
On December 18, Czech Society for European and Comparative Law together with Charles University School of Law and Common Law Society hold a colloquium on the relationship between national constitutional systems and EU Law.
Our attorney Petr Bříza is among the invited speakers, joining ranks of prominent EU Law experts from courts (including the Constitutional Court), academia or state administration (including the Agent representing the Czech Republic before the CJEU). Also, the prospective Czech Advocate General, Michal Bobek, should attend. Petr's presentation will deal with a conflict between national and EU interests and its impact on private disputes. Petr will draw from his practical experience with representing in this type of cases before Czech and EU courts or institutions. The details about the colloquium may be found here.
