Bříza & Trubač has two new partners

The firm's existing five partners have been expanded to include attorneys Marta Zavadilová and Barbora Klimešová as of 1 May 2023.

Both attorneys are long-time members of the team. Marta Zavadilová specialises primarily in private international law, litigation, and family law. Barbora Klimešová focuses on transactions and employment law.

"The move to the position of partners reflects not only the fact that Marta and Barbara are excellent lawyers, but also their human and managerial qualities. We wish them every success in their new role," said Ondřej Trubač, one of the founding partners of the firm.

"I have been working with Bříza & Trubač for six years now and during that time the DNA of the office has become an inseparable part of me. The new position is therefore not just another step in the hierarchy, but an opportunity for me to contribute even more to the development of the firm and the fulfilment of its vision and values," added Barbora Klimešová.

"My relationship with Bříza & Trubač has been based from the very beginning on the trust I received from the founding partners years ago and I appreciate it immensely. The partnership is both a continuation and a new challenge for me. I am looking forward to working with the partnership team and I am very happy that it is Bára Klimešová who will together with me bring a female perspective to the hitherto exclusively men's club," said Marta Zavadilová.

In addition to founders Petr Bříza and Ondřej Trubač, the firm's partners so far have included Ondřej Hampl, Tomáš Hokr and Patrik Koželuha.  Currently, the firm employs a total of 17 lawyers and other staff. The plans of the office envisage further gradual expansion of the team.

The expansion of the number of partners is another significant news after the office moved to the Prague Palladium in February this year due to the expanding team.
